Click it and select a SoundFont2 instruments/drumkits bank file to load (*.SF2).  Bank - Here you can set the patch (instrument) number in the SoundFont collection to be played by the generator. Preset Number - Here you can set the preset number in the SoundFont collection to be used by Fantasize. Instrument - Shows the name of the selected instrument. Click this area to see a full list with instruments/drumkits available in the currently loaded SoundFont collection.  Sections LFO (Low Frequency Oscillator): Modulation Depth, Frequency & Offset. ADSR envelope generator with Attack, Sustain, Decay and Release parameters and several modulation targets. Distortion Unit: A wave distortion effect which maps input to output values using flexible spline-based graph. Distorts the input depending on a transfer function you draw by dragging the control points with your mouse.  MIDI Channel selector and Master Volume control. Delay Effect Built-in: Feedback amount & Modulation knobs. Reverb Effect Built-in: Customizable with user controls for: size room, width room, damping factor & mix. Signal's Harmonic Spectrum (Freq. analyzer) On-screen MIDI keyboard that can be played with the mouse, or keyboard (Q is Middle-C, Z two Octaves lower) The 'T' on the left of the keyboard sets Toggle Mode where each key stays held until you click it a second time. PORTAMENTO/GLIDE control: affects pitch transitions. A gliding effect that allows a sound to change pitch at a gradual rate, rather than abruptly, when a new key is pressed or MIDI note sent. When turned to the far left, there are no pitch transitions - new notes immediately play at their "correct" pitch. If turned to the right, the glide time increases - new notes are triggered at the pitch of the previous note, and then gradually glide to the pitch of the played note, quickly or slowly, depending on the setting of this knob. Parameters

System Requirements

      Before you install VST Instruments & Effects, please make sure your computer fulfills the following requirements:

  • Windows Operating System : Windows® XP, Windows® Vista, Windows® 7 / x86 (32 bit). For x64 (64 bit) test it first with VST Bridge, jBridge or BitBridge.

  • Linux Operating System, with the following requirements (Special Thanks to Paul Davis).

  • Intel Mac OS X: Via free Wine based host called SM Pro Audio VFX Software as standalone program or by routing the audio signals to your favorite sequencer (e.g. GarageBand, Logic Pro) via Cycling74 SoundFlower and IAC bus (Macintosh® OS X  10.5 Intel, Mac OS X 10.6 Intel).

  • Intel Mac OS X: Via Apple's Boot Camp software, included with Mac OS X v10.5 Leopard, v10.6 Snow Leopard and Mac OS X v10.7 Lion.

  • 500 MHz Processor (Pentium®, Celeron® AMD® or equivalent) minimum.

  • RAM: 128 MB or higher recommended.

Installation

      To install VST plug-in, follow these steps: 

  • The file must be in a directory where the VST host is looking for VST plug-ins.

  • Unzip the file.

  • Put the Fantasize SoundFont Player demo.dll file into VST Plug-ins Folder of your host application.

      To uninstall simply remove the Fantasize SoundFont Player demo.dll file.

Evaluation & Registration

The code for the licensed and evaluation versions of this software are identical. The Demo Version is full functional. You can do anything you can do with the full version, also some presets are included to demonstrate the instruments capabilities.

The Registered Version does not have nagging sounds and their use is unlimited.
