VST Plug-in Configuration
If you have any installed VST
instruments or effects, you should configure your paths for these right away
too. If you do not know what they are, or if you don't have any, you can skip
past this section.
From the main menu, select
Options -> VST Paths. This will open up a window with a list of paths to
search. To add a new path, click on Add and locate the directory in which your
plugin(s) are installed. Clicking Remove will clear selected items from the
list.
Note that if, for example,
your plugins are installed in individual subfolders under one main folder,
then you do not need to add the paths of each individual plugin folder - just
add the main folder, and Orion will automatically scan for plugins in any
subfolders under it.
Your plugin instruments and/or
effects, will not be available in Orion, until you close and start it again,
because plugins have to be found and scanned during program startup.
